Diane Walton is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Asheville, where she received a BA in Political Science, and the University of Baltimore School of Law, where she received a JD. Diane is a member in good standing of the North Carolina State Bar, The North Carolina Bar Association, The American Bar Association, and the North Carolina Academy of Trial Lawyers.

Diane grew up in Western North Carolina and is closely connected to the Asheville community through her family, friends and participation in many community activities. Before attending college Diane served in the United States Coast Guard for four years. Diane lives in Asheville with her partner and their son.
